Plum Bottom Friends and Family,
We took a break from our newsletter last week as we put all our energy into Watch Buy Save. We hope you've enjoyed our collaboration with Annabel's, Little Black Dress and Simply J! As part of our mission, we constantly strive to make connections within the community and love to help support other locally owned businesses.
Watch Buy Save will continue as a regular feature--occasionally involving other boutiques, but mostly featuring collections of our shoes and accessories paired together in curated combinations. This week you can check out Andrea and Celeste's picks-and save 20% off all the featured items!

Though we still don't have a solid date to announce, every day we move closer to reopening. We are so excited at the thought of welcoming you back to the store! For everyone's safety--both staff and customers--we will limit the number of customers who are allowed in the store at one time. Because of this, we are encouraging as many people as possible, especially those who are in an "at risk" group, to schedule a private or semi-private appointment. While we continue to be patient regarding our opening date, please click here to fill out this form so that we may contact you to schedule an appointment when the time comes.
We always prefer to be able to work with you one-on-one in person, but since that's not currently possible we continue to update the website so that you feel confident shopping with us online. This helps us maintain some small portion of our income. And it's risk free for you! We'll be excepting returns or exchanges at the store up to 30 days from the time we reopen. If you are local, and aren't thrilled with your online purchase, we suggest holding onto it so you can try on a different size or style when we reopen. That way you are able to support us now and are guaranteed satisfaction with your purchase. If you've got unique needs--like a narrow or wide foot, or a bunion, browse our collections refine the choices to those we think will work best for you!
We hope you're hungry, because our local business features this week are going to make your mouth water! When we invest in our local food systems, we are making our community stronger, one bite at at time.
Today is Memorial Day, and we want to take a moment to pause and offer thanks to all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. You will always be in our hearts.

Keep smiling, friends! ~ Carla and Andrea
A strong community is supported by strong local farms. The Carothers Family has been raising beef cattle since 1909 from their family farm in Boiling Springs which they sell direct to consumers. Not only do they ethically raise their cattle with love and care, they are actively supporting a local non-profit that provide for the urgent needs of families. And did we mention they do "pick you own" corn and pumpkins? Sweet!
It's nice to look forward to something...like hand-churned ice cream and warm summer days. Urban Churn makes ice cream the old-fashioned way with natural, local ingredients in a churn with ice and salt. While some of the flavors will make you nostalgic, others will ignite new taste buds! Their small batches sell out very quickly, but you can become a member to have your ice cream delivered weekly, or curb-side pickup.
You've been enjoying Farm to Table restaurants...but did you know it's easy to bring locally sourced produce, meat, cheese and pantry items--including locally milled flour-- into your kitchen? Shop Radish & Rye online, schedule a pickup window, and pull up to Broad Street Market to have your local, fresh and delicious grocery items delivered right to your car!
