Staff Favorite Picks: What We’re Loving This Spring

Staff Favorite Picks: What We’re Loving This Spring

One of the best parts of working at Plum Bottom is getting to see the new arrivals as they come in, try them on, style them with different outfits, and figure out which pieces we keep reaching for again and again.

So for this month’s blog, we asked a few of our staff members to share their favorite spring picks. Some chose sandals they can’t stop recommending. Others built a full outfit around easy, wearable pieces that feel just right for the season.

Here’s what we’re loving right now.

Lauren’s Pick: Andre Assous Slide Sandals

Lauren’s spring favorite is a pair of Andre Assous slide sandalsThese flat, deeply padded slide sandal instantly makes an outfit feel pulled together without trying too hard.

Andre Assous is known for that perfect mix of effortless style and wearable comfort, and these slides are exactly the kind of shoe you can reach for all season long. Pair them with cropped jeans, a breezy sundress, wide-leg linen pants, or even a simple tee-and-denim look when you want the shoes to do a little of the work.

They’re polished enough for lunch, vacation, or a casual summer event, but easy enough for everyday wear. That’s the sweet spot we’re always looking for.

Carmela’s Pick: Remonte Sandals + Tina Stevens Pants

Carmela chose Remonte sandals. Remonte is one of those brands we love because it understands real life: comfort, support, adjustability, and style all in one.

Her pick pairs beautifully with an easy spring outfit - a soft white top, light pants, and jewelry that keeps the look polished but relaxed. We can also talk about one of Carmela’s other favorites: Tina Stevens one-size-fits-most pants. They’re easy, flattering, and wearable in the way only a truly good pull-on pant can be.

The combination feels fresh without being fussy. It’s the kind of outfit that works for travel, errands, lunch with friends, or those days when you want to feel put together but still comfortable from head to toe.

Carla’s Pick: Marina from Pikolinos

Carla’s pick is Marina from Pikolinos, a shoe that brings together beautiful leather, everyday comfort, and that relaxed Mediterranean feel Pikolinos does so well.

Marina is the kind of style that becomes a go-to because it works with so many things. It has enough personality to make an outfit feel special, but it’s still practical for real life. Pair it with denim (like the white FDJ wide leg jeans Carla is wearing), linen pants, a casual dress, or anything you’d pack for a spring or summer trip.

Pikolinos always has that soft, lived-in leather feel as well as exquisite hand-drafted details and Marina is no  exception. It’s a great choice when you want something comfortable, stylish, and a little more interesting than a basic sandal.

Kristyn’s Pick: Eric Michael Rafa Sandal + Powder Kimono + Gigi Moda Linen Pants

Kristyn built a full outfit around the Eric Michael Rafa sandal, a Powder kimono, and Gigi Moda pink linen pants. She can go directly from work to a casual dinner with friends while looking cool, styled and comfortable.

Kristyn created such a fun spring look because it plays with texture, color, and movement without feeling overdone.

The Gigi Moda pants are one-size-fits-most, which makes them an easy, giftable, travel-friendly piece to have in your closet. Add a Powder kimono over a simple tank or tee, and suddenly the whole outfit feels intentional.

The Eric Michael Rafa sandal grounds the look with comfort and style. It’s an easy sandal to wear with flowy pants, dresses, skirts, or denim, and it gives the outfit that relaxed but finished feeling we love for spring and summer.

This is exactly the kind of look that works for dinner out, vacation, outdoor events, or any day when you want comfort but still want to look like you made an effort.

Lesla’s Pick: Harper Sandal from Salvia

Lesla chose the Harper sandal from Salvia, a warm-weather style with an easy, natural feel.

This is the kind of sandal that would look beautiful with cropped linen pants, relaxed denim, a simple sundress, or a breezy skirt. It has that casual, artisanal leather look that feels right at home with summer textures, linen, cotton, raffia, soft neutrals, and sun-washed colors.

Harper is an easy pick for someone who wants a sandal that feels laid-back but still interesting. It’s not boring, and it’s not overdone. It’s the kind of piece that can quietly pull an outfit together.
