Now that the dust has settled on our grand opening at 1801 Market Street in Camp Hill, it feels like the perfect time to sit back and reflect on what a crazy journey we’ve taken together over the past year. I’d like nothing more than to brew a cup of coffee (from One Good Woman, of course) and enjoy a day of rest and reflection. But I’m not going to do that. Why? Because a business is not built in the past. Those are the foundations, yes. If we’re going to survive and thrive, we’ve got to make sure that we are looking forward with hope, optimism and renewed commitment to taking care of ourselves and our customers. I’m still going to enjoy that cup of coffee, though ;)
What does the future have in store? So many shoes! As promised, we listen and react to your needs. As per your request, an old-time favorite, Robert Zur loafers, have returned! For now they are exclusive to our Camp Hill store. We have a limited supply of narrow sizes, as well as medium width. These loafers are so classic and traditional that they are ultra-cool. The kids call it “normcore”, but we just call them the perfect loafer! Soft, supple leather melts to fit your foot.
Whether you choose a staple color like navy or cognac, or decide to go wild with fuchsia and orange, you will love the comfort and ease of Robert Zur loafers.
Another brand that you asked us to re-introduce is Bernie Mev. We couldn’t resist their Extreme sneaker—and apparently neither can you! The Rainbow color flew out of both stores over the last few weeks. We’ve gotten a very limited supply back in that color, and we’ve also picked it up in two new colors—Rose Gold and Soft Grey. Considering the versatility of both of those colors, I don’t think either will last long. Visit either store to get your Bernie Mev’s today!
One of my personal favorites is returning this season! Last year we introduced Nero Giardini sandals. They are made in Italy and are the height of fashion. But with the intense hit that Italy has taken because of Covid, we weren’t sure if we would see them this season. To my great relief, they are back! The flatform reminds me of walking around Rome, gazing into the shop windows. And the wedge with neon yellow accents has stolen my heart! I wore them all last summer and I swear I could even jog in them if needs must. That style is on-order and arriving soon!
Can't decide between black and gold? I think you need both colors in this Nero Giardini flatform.
More and more of you are shopping for dressy occasions as wedding season gets into full swing. For style as well as all day comfort, my choice is Brenda Zaro. New slides in spring colors have arrived and are featured at both stores. These Spanish-made sandals feel like a breath of fresh air after a long, cold winter!
Soft colors in these reptile prints pair well with your spring wardrobe.
It’s been so encouraging to customers returning to both stores. Thank you! Many of you have stories of being recently vaccinated. You tell us that you’re feeling more confident about being out of the house and are excited to be returning to normal. We are so grateful that you’ve stuck with us, and that we are only getting healthier and happier—together. Here’s to the future!
