Fall Fashion Preview: Loafers and Prints
We made it to Fall 2020! This year, that seems like something to celebrate. And what better way than to treat yourself to some fall shoes and boots! Let’s take a tour of what is new and exciting this season. Just remember—shop early and often. Maybe you’ve already noticed that this year is different than any other. While we’ve got shelves full of gorgeous new styles, many of our favorite brands are not stocking extra inventory. That means we won’t be able to reorder some of our most popular styles. Don’t wait—get them while you can! And because of supply chain issues around the world, some items are still on their way. Be sure to check back if you don’t find what you are looking for yet. Chances are it will be arriving shortly!
In this blog we’re going to take a look at two popular trends: loafers/flats and prints.
Flats are Fabulous!
We are well stocked with new loafers, smoking slippers and flats that wear beautifully for three or four seasons out of the year. Since you don’t have to put them away when the weather changes, that makes them a great choice in which to invest in a high-quality, comfortable pair or two.
We love the fashion and comfort of these new ARA loafers! The nut brown suede is the most popular loafer color this season, but don’t be shy about adding some color to your shoe collection with the green.
Looking for a versatile flat that fits nearly any foot? Despite it's tapered toe shape, the Caldi by Naked Feet stretches over bunions or wider feet, but also hug a narrower foot. We like to think of it as a “magic shoe” that fits almost everyone!
Animal Prints Continue to Roar
Reptile, cheetah, leopard and cheetah prints have been on the rise for the past few seasons, and you’ll see that trend take flight this fall! Look for the addition of colors to the animal prints to add extra visual interest and texture.
We already talked about how loafers are a popular look this season, but Donald Pliner takes that up a notch with this high-heel, snake print loafer accented in brown and mustard. It’s all about the details with this “boss babe” shoe. Take a look refined mirror metallic detail on the inside of the heel.
Naot has jumped into the trend with several new styles. The ever popular and comfortable Helm boot gets an update in grey cobra or tan zebra. Pick up a Naot slide in black with cheetah or taupe with gold cobra. Both can be worn as “house slippers” or throw them on with ease while you're out and about.
Over the next few weeks you can look forward to more updates about fall arrivals. Other than browsing our website or stopping by the store, what’s the best way to find out what’s new? Keep reading our blogs, and following our Instagram and Facebook posts! Thank you for continuing to support us so that we’ll be around for years to come.
